I’m going to keep this report rather short.

The Scene

As usual we had a room in an upscale hotel. This time it was near Herald Square, about 2 blocks from Penn Station New York. There was one king size bed, a 2-person couch, and 2 chairs. Plenty of room. It didn’t feel cramped.

What’s new?

This time I pre-announced specific themes for each party. The early party was “Big fake tits and bimbo porn” the second was “Gooner/pornosexual party! gooner, pornosexual, sissy, bimbo, bi”.

RSVPs: 31 “yes” and 17 “maybe”. The fact that only 9 showed up is typical. There are always a lot of “no shows”. Sadly I think the reason a lot of people didn’t show up is that they were intimidated by the idea of 31 (maybe 48!) people being there. Does that mean that if I had hidden the RSVP count, more people would have shown up? I dunno.

I wish that people would change their status to “no” or at least “maybe” if they can’t make it. Note to self: Next time don’t open RSVPs until a week before. I think a lot of people sign up a month in advance and then something comes up. It would be better to announce the date early, but don’t permit RSVPs until a few days before. At least that’s my theory. I’ll try that next time.

The Layout

When you first enter the room, you are welcomed with a small table that offers you a wristband : green (I’m interested), red (I’m not interested), and yellow (unsure… ask).

People picked a mix of green and yellow wristbands.

Notice that this time I asked for donations. The room cost about $300 and I got $80 which was greatly appreciated. I didn’t ask for donations in the past because I felt the parties weren’t good enough yet. Now I think I have fine tuned things good enough that I don’t feel embarassed asking for donations. Thanks to everyone that donated, especially the one person that gave an extra big donation! You rock!

The room had a nice big bed, a couch big enough for two, and a chair. People were able to spread out. Here’s a photo:

The room didn’t have an ideal play to put the projector, so I put it at the side of the room, projecting over the bed. You can see it in the previous photo. People sitting on the couch said it was a good angle. When they looked away from the video screens, they would see the projected video on the wall. Anywhere they looked they’d see porn!
